Hey gang, sorry I've been less active here, out pushing the campaign elsewhere, plus working on all the other great projects coming from Outrider later this year and next year! Very cool stuff. Plus, most of the Outland team was at Planet Comicon all weekend and are still recovering from the great fun and hard work there.
I will tell you all the full Dead Man's Hand book is in now final production, so we can go to print, and we just wrapped creative work on The Kid #1, so it will go to print at the same time. We've now started rolling right into #2 with the same team so that we can roll it out as one of our next campaigns.
Meanwhile, The Nacogdoches Incident #1 is also in the works, with the script from Shane Lacy Hensley and layouts for issue 1 now done, and artist Aaron Palsmeier cranking away on full pencils.
We'll also be announcing a few more projects in the near future! So, never fear, we are toiling away here at Outrider central to create some amazing comics and books!
Now, normally we would have announced the next stretch goal today but Publisher Jeremy Mohler and myself have not had a chance to converse and lock down what our next one will be out of the several we've considered. So, fear not, we will be announcing something cool ASAP, and we will have a $13K stretch goal, and if we can hit it tomorrow? We'll I'll also share an exclusive, Backer Only preview of The Nacogdoches Incident, just to let you all marvel at our most action-packed comic yet!

Short and sweet tonight, but I just continue to be blown away!
We are now closing on $12K, which means there is a good gosh-durn chance that tomorrow we will be announcing YET ANOTHER Stretch Goal!
This is a challenge I love having.
$11K Stretch Goal Unlocked! Nearing 350 Backers! +Cool Outland Projects

Well gang, we are entering the home stretch here and still doing pretty solid! We've now clearly surpassed the $11K Stretch Goal, so now EVERY physical backer will get The Kid Mini-Print, signed by myself, the artist, and every digital backer will get the custom desktop art/screensaver image! I want to thank you all for your continued support! Next up is $12K for that Cackler art! I know we can do it.
We'll be putting together some cool graphics with all the stretch goals for folks joining us in the final days and will be doing some other promotions to make sure we finish strong. We've got some bets in-house on how high this is going to go before we wrap on May 5th, so we're all still behind it 110%!

Quick Mini-Digital Cackler Update

Hey, Deadlanders, we've had a few of our digital backers ask about getting the Cackler in digital.
Your wish is our command! So, we've now added a $20 Dead Man's Hand / Cackler Digital Combo where you can get both graphic novels, in full, in digital.
I will be doing a full update later today spotlighting some other great projects from Outland to celebrate the kickoff of Planet Comicon, Outland's home show where most of our motley crew will be this weekend. (I am <sniff> not there <sniff> so, help me feel better about missing all the fun by jumping off any fence you've been sitting on and back the campaign this weekend.)

$11K & $12K Stretch Goals Announced!

Well, gang, I admit, I was a little nervous today. For a bit of a stretch there we actually seemed intent on going backward, but we're moving in the right direction again, and I'm feeling pretty secure we'll stay above the $10K mark this time.
So, as promised, it's time to announce the next two stretch goals!
At $11K - The Kid cover mini-print/desktop art! - physical prints signed by artist C. Edward Sellner
At $12K - The Cackler cover mini-print/desktop art!
As with our previous cover-related stretch goals, every physical backer will get a mini-print, similar in size to the book, every digital backer will get a custom-designed desktop/screensaver version! As an added bonus, The Kid mini-prints will be signed by the artist.
