We just hit our halfway mark giving us two weeks left and it looks like we're picking up again as we start going into the home stretch on this great campaign! I am quickly running out of creative ways to describe my shock and joy at just how amazing this ride has been so far and how much potential it has to bring it home! And it's all thanks to you fine folks on the other side of this screen! We couldn't do it without you!
So, as we close in on the big $10,000 Mark, we wanted to do something really special for everyone, so we're adding TWO NEW BOOKS to this campaign, one as special bonus tiers and add-ons, and another as our biggest stretch goal yet!

Yep, you heard right, we figured just a preview was no longer enough, so, now when we hit the big $10,000 mark, every backer gets the full 23-page issue one of TheKid!
If you're a digital backer, you get a digital copy, if you're a print backer, you'll get a print copy. You will then be the very first to join the Deadlands version of Billy the Kid on his exciting journey in his own ongoing series! In Billy's own words: "Get me a gun, there's killing to be done!"
Written by C. Edward Sellner, art by Rully Akbar, colors by Melinda Timpone, and letters by Jacob Bascle! Issue 1 of 3 in this first story arc. Issues 2 and 3 will each launch in a campaign, then be collected in hardcover!

Well, golly gee, that didn't take long at all with the Cackler rush! Glad everyone seems psyched for that book as well. And now, we've unlocked $10K which means EVERY BACKER gets a FREEDeadlands:TheKid#1Comic! Digital backers will get a digital edition; print backers will get the print version! I can't wait for all of you to join that adventure; we've got a lot of fun in store for you!
Tomorrow it looks like we'll have to announce our $11K and $12K Stretch Goals, because, yeah, we fully plan to hit at least that.
I also wanted to mention a couple of other cool campaigns out there you folks might like.
Templars' Code is an explosive original comic book pack filled with mystical adventures, time travel, and everyone’s favorite order of chivalry: The Knights Templar. Set in the Mars colonization era, it is a literal out-of-this-world adventure comic that follows Tom, a pioneering engineer employed by a Martian Colony. On Mars, Tom stumbles upon the Holy Grail and with it, travels back in time to help Nicola Tesla prevent many of the catastrophic events of the twentieth century.
Last Ride of the 4 Horsemen is the tale of Cager Dobbin, a local hired gun, and his battle to survive the monstrous Horsemen who emerge, one by one from nowhere, to destroy his town of Promise. Cager is assisted by the local tycoon who employs him, the mayor wed to this tycoon, and the town sheriff on the payroll of that same tycoon.

I am gobsmacked! I watched us top 300 backers!
I saw us break through $9,000!
And I'm crying tears of joy!
We have surpassed EVERY expectation for this project!

So, yes, we now add Vengeful to the main book, written by Shane Hensley with art by Sean Lee!
And that maxes out the book! Including all the content we could possibly pack under one cover.
Which just means, we're going to have to start adding BOOKS!
You heard that right!

Hey, Deadlanders!
Welcome back, and WOW! Those numbers just keep clicking up there, don't they? That is so awesome. The fact that we are closing in (and I think will easily surpass) $9K and 300 backers is just humbling. Thank you all for your support! And we plan to really make things worth your while!
Yep, you already know the $9K Stretch Goal is getting Shane Hensley's short story Vengeful added into the main book. I know we're going to hit that soon. When we do, we're also going to unveil two new tiers and add-ons with another awesome Deadlands story from Shane!
Then it's on to $10K! And yes, we have a HUGE stretch goal for $10K and will announce that when we hit $9K, so, hold on to your horses folks, we're going big!

Well, Deadlanders, the climb continues; we are past the halfway mark to $8K and unlocking that first bonus short story by former Deadlands head honcho Matthew Cutter!
We also passed the momentous 250 Backers mark within the last 24 hours, which is huge for us. It's great to know we're reaching people and getting them excited for the book. I know we've got a bunch more followers out there who are keeping an eye on this little campaign, so, for those who haven't taken the leap yet, we certainly will do our best to earn your pledge between now and the campaign's end.
In the meantime, over at Outrider Central, we've been talking about adding some high roller tiers for the collectors out there, like adding some original art tiers from the actual stories, or other cool collectibles. So, what would be something to get your interest? Maybe as a Deadlands gamer, a weird west comic lover, or just as fans of our various amazing creators? Won't promise we'll do all of them, but would be nice to hear what you all's thoughts are as we make our plans for the three weeks we have left.
