Fully Funded in Less than 48! First Stretch Goal Announced!

Yep, you heard me. We fully funded in less than 48 hours! I'm pretty happy with that for our first official outing as Outrider! Of course, we could not have done it without all of you! And not just by actually supporting the book, but by doing your part to share it around. Found a bunch of tweets and posts spreading the word from our various creators and supporters last night and it was so cool to see the love being shared! Thank you, all of you, so much! I will continue searching and retweeting and sharing all your posts, if I don't see yours feel free to shoot me a link so I can like and share! Each one warms my heart.

But enough of that! Onward and Upward! So, we are now officially announcing our FIRST STRETCH GOAL!

At $5,000 - We Unlock the Steve Firchow Cover Bonus!

When we hit $5,000, EVERY backer getting a physical book will get a Mini-Print of that gorgeous Steve Firchow cover for this edition! The print will be about the same size as the book for easier shipping and will be suitable for framing! And for our Digital-only backers, don't worry, we won't leave you out, you will get a custom-designed Desktop Art / Screensaver of that cover for your computer!

I personally think we can hit that mark in the next 24 hours, what about you all?

Final Stretch to Hit Our Goal Plus Some Other Cool Projects!

Oh wow, what a second day? Was this just the second day? Yeah, it was, and we are just within a few hundred of hitting our $4K goal! Unbelievable! Now, me, I'm hoping we hit it tonight before I call it a night! (Hey, this worked yesterday.) So, if any of you have been on the fence and feel the urge...

Anyway, I can't say it enough, but thanks to all of you who've already pledged! We are lining up some cool stretch goals because we still have 4 weeks to go on this thing, so, whoo, it's crazy.

To make these updates a little more than me gushing, I wanted to start sharing some other cool projects that I've come across one way or another and think you folks might like. First up...

The Metallic Dynamite team has worked hard to bring you a badass package of incredible art and story from front to back and this first volume will include six stories written by one of our backers, Jordan Thomas (Frank At Home On The Farm, Weird Work) and drawn by the incredible talents of Lucy Sullivan (Barking), Shaky Kane (Dealine, The Bulletproof Coffin), Benjamin Æ Filby (The Tomb series), Anna Readman (Handlebar Gumbo), JF Totti (Big F#@k Off Worms) and Carlos Lopez, plus a collection of awesome pinups and science fiction love letter essays.

We've Soared Past Halfway and Hit the Big 100 Backers!

I am humbly amazed at the outpouring of support for this book! Thank you to ALL our backers, no matter what level you came in on, every bit helps! It was wonderful to see us sail past the halfway mark before calling it a night last night, and wonderful to get in the office and actually watch the tally roll up to 100 backers this morning! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I do have one small favor to ask all of you, and that is to help spread the word about this campaign to everyone you think might be interested. Feel free to share it on social media. If you've read previous versions, share your thoughts on the stories and get new fans pscyhed. If you're a Deadlands gamer, share this with your gaming buds. Since we picked up the first license I've been surprised by how many die hard Deadlands fans had not heard of the comics and novels, so do your friends a favor and make sure they know.

And keep in mind, the sooner we hit our goal, the sooner we start rolling out stretch goals! I'm hoping you folks make us work very hard to come up with a ton of cool ones to roll out.

Wow! What a great first 8 hours in our first-ever campaign as Outrider Publications with the fantastic Deadlands: Dead Man's Hand graphic novel!

We're already closing in on halfway to our funding goal! Which is great because we've got some amazing stretch goals to lay on you all once we hit that mark!

We've also already been tagged as a coveted "Project We Love" by the Kickstarter Cowpokes, which for us is almost as awesome as a Marshal's badge!

And by popular demand (thanks to your comments and messages) we've already added our mini-prints and playing cards as Add-Ons for folks who want only one or the other. (We do aim to please!)

I do have one word of advice, I think some of you fine folk have missed our Earlybird Combo deal where you can get the digital and print edition of the book at a discounted price! That deal is good until tomorrow night, so, if you missed it before, update your pledge ASAP. (We're looking out for you all.)

I'd love us to hit that halfway mark tonight! I know I'll sleep easier if we do.
