Hey gang, been a slow day today on the campaign; I guess those are going to come from time to time. But we are not discouraged! Nope, just means we need to prime some other pumps to get news flowing to new folks. We're going to be tackling that this coming week with PR sent to media outlets, a bunch of social media blitzing, etc. So, fear not, we got a long way to go yet and plenty of time to line up lots of additional goodies for everyone! I again want to thank everyone who tweeted, posted, and shared on social media. I tracked down some more today and liked and shared! It means a lot to see the love!
On my end, today has been interesting, lol. I got back just a little while ago, and now my Photoshop isn't working, and I needed it to put together some cool graphics for our stretch goals. I'm also still missing a key piece of art I need for the latest one, but it's coming. See you all just hit these first ones so dang fast, I'll be honest, you caught us a bit unprepared!
So, I kind of don't want to give away what our third goal is without having the mockup image for it, as it is something cool. So bear with me, I will announce the details as soon as I get a couple things sorted.
But, I can tell you this, we are committed to adding a stretch goal at every $1,000 mark to help keep things rolling! Some will be aimed more at the long-term Deadlands fans, some at our newer fans, and some will be about exclusives and early sneak peeks, but all of them will be fun.
So, just know Stretch Goal #3 will hit at $7K - and I will definitely reveal its exact nature in the next day or so.

Hey gang! Apologies, I've had to go take care of some family business and it's taking longer than planned. Since I'm not at my main computer, I can't do a full update with images until I get back.

Man, you all continue to impress me! We knocked out both of those stretch goals I challenged us to today as we've rolled past $6,000 and are currently at 204 backers! Be still my beating heart! So, yes, tomorrow morning we will be announcing our THIRD Stretch goal, and we've got a really cool one! I can't wait to share it!
Also, we've expanded our FAQ section to help clarify some things folks were asking questions about. Please, don't hesitate to reach out if you have a question about anything, we want to make sure you know exactly what you're getting and will do whatever we can to accommodate everyone. We love our backers; you folks make the magic possible!

Second Stretch Goal Announced!

Wow! I see we are almost halfway to the big $6K! That should make knocking out this second stretch goal today easy, right? Can we do it?
$6K Stretch Goal - Devil's Six Gun Variant Mini-Print
Back when we released these initial one-shots from Image, a retailer association wanted to do a big event to celebrate the first release - Devil's Six Gun. They also wanted to commission a variant cover from that book's artist Steve Ellis. And we needed it done on a very tight deadline to get it to print in time.
Steve was up to the challenge and knocked out the cover in record time, 90% on his iPad Pro while traveling. It has since become one of our most popular covers, most recognizable Deadlands shots, and one of my personal favorites!
And now YOU can own your very own! When we hit the $6K mark, every digital backer will get a customized Desktop Art/Screensaver and every physical book backer will get a mini-print of this beautiful piece of art. Just a reminder, the mini-prints will be roughly 6x9 or close to the size of the book for easier shipping and marginal shipping costs.
As an additional stretch goal for today... I'd love to see us hit 200 backers! I like nice round numbers.

Whew, you folks mean business! We just knocked out that $5K Stretch goal, and hit 170 backers! So now EVERY digital backer gets the Desktop Art/Screensaver and every physical book backer gets the mini-print of that gorgeous Steve Firchow cover done exclusively for this hardcover volume of Dead Man's Hand!
We're reeling from the dealing! I just can't keep up, but no worries, tomorrow morning, after I catch my breath, we will announce our next cool stretch goal and it involves one of my favorite ever pieces of Deadlands comic lore. Can't wait to share it.
